Punch Needle Stool Workshop!

Prerequisite: No prior experience necessary- everyone is welcome!

Learn how to design and create your own punch needle stool cover! In this workshop series, we will cover the basics of punch needle, a distinctly North American fiber craft rooted in 18th-century rug hooking. Punch needle is a beginner-friendly craft form that I find to be incredibly therapeutic. With the repetitive movements (getting stabby with any pent-up rage!), cozy yarn, and a finished project that will last for generations, you'll be sure to fall in love!

PLEASE NOTE: The stool is not included in the kit. I will provide lots of options for where to purchase a stool or how to easily assemble your own. The stool cover will be a standard size to fit any 10" round stool top. The finished piece could also be easily sewn into a chair pad or round pillow.

OPTION ONE: Full Kit Includes (Value of this kit is $142):
- Four skeins of Violet Jane 100% wool 3-ply rug yarn in 4-ounce skeins (approximately 55 yards)
- 14-inch no-slip embroidery hoop
- Oxford Punch Needle #10 Regular
- 100% Cotton Monk's Cloth
* The frame and needle are yours to keep and an investment in your future punch needle projects to be used over and over again!
** If you would like to invest in a gripper strip frame and not use the embroidery hoop, choose the second Kit Option for Yarn Only. Gripper strip frames can be ordered separately from me.

OPTION TWO: Yarn Only Kit Includes (Value of this kit is $80):
- Four skeins of Violet Jane 100% wool 3-ply rug yarn in 4-ounce skeins (approximately 55 yards)
- 100% Cotton Monk's Cloth
* If you select the Yarn Only Kit, you must have an Oxford #10 Regular Punch Needle and a gripper strip frame at least 14" x 14" or a 14" no-slip embroidery hoop.
