Punch Needle Stool Workshop!
Design and punch your own punch needle stool cover!
Course and Kit Fee: $150 (includes wool rug yarn and cotton monk's cloth)
Required Supplies: Gripper Strip Frame (minimum size of 14" x 14") or 14" No-Slip Embroidery Hoop, and an Oxford #10 Regular Punch Needle.
If you already have these supplies you are set! The no-slip embroidery hoop and punch needle can be rented as a $25 add-on or purchased separately to use again and again!
Length: 4 hours divided into two 2-hour sessions.

Learn how to design and create your own punch needle stool cover! In this workshop series, we will cover the basics of punch needle, a distinctly North American fiber craft rooted in 18th-century rug hooking. Punch needle is a beginner-friendly craft form that I find to be incredibly therapeutic. With the repetitive movements (getting stabby with any pent-up rage!), cozy yarn, and a finished project that will last for generations, you'll be sure to fall in love!
PLEASE NOTE: The stool is not included in the kit. I will provide lots of options for where to purchase a stool or how to easily assemble your own. The stool cover will be a standard size to fit any 10" round stool top. The finished piece could also be easily sewn into a chair pad or round pillow.
