• WORKSHOP: BEGINNER PUNCH NEEDLE
  Date: Two Sessions - Thursday, April 23rd + Thursday, April 30th
  Time: 6:00 - 9:00 PM
  Location: 3807 Rhode Island Ave, Brentwood, MD (Tyler's Studio)
  Capacity: 4 Participants
  About: In-depth beginner and intermediate workshop that covers all punch needle techniques from tracing a pattern to hemming the edges. Participants will create an 8x8-inch square that can be used as a trivet, pillow, or hung on the wall.

  About: Create your own custom hand-woven tapestry! Learn to warp a mini-loom and then explore modern frame-loom weaving techniques inspired by color, shapes, and patterns found in nature.

  About: Guided by Tyler, you’ll explore techniques that encourage play, intuition, and personal expression while creating abstract shapes and patterns inspired by landscapes and ecosystems using a Punch Needle. This workshop will take place at Gallery B in Bethesda, MD, which is showcasing "A Persistent Nature" for Climate Month, April 3 - April 26, by the ImageineEarth Collective. You'll be creating in the gallery space surrounded by nature-inspired artwork from 8+ artists, including workshop instructor, Tyler Sanville.
